Introduction

Hi, there! My name is James Plant, and I am a professionally registered data scientist based in Liverpool, England.
I am well-experienced in advanced analytical work, and I hold two degrees in the biomedical sciences - A first-class B.Sc. with honours in Biomedical Science from the University of Salford, and an M.Res. with distinction in Stem Cells, Tissues, and Disease from the University of Liverpool. I mostly work in healthcare and scientific analysis, but I am always interested in new experiences!
I am a member of the Federation of Data Informatics Professionals through their member organisation AphA. I routinely attend conferences across the UK - I never miss ConfedExpo! For an example of my work in print, see a publication I was heavily involved with (particularly the figures) from my former work in laboratory research (Thompson et al., 2017).
This site contains information about myself, the professional services I can provide, and a personal blog. Whilst I am not currently looking to leave my 9-5 career job, I am interested in taking on freelance work.
